Eric Campbell lands top design award
Managing Director Eric Campbell wins the PPA Independent Publisher Designer of the Year, with the judges describing his work as imaginative and humorous.
White Light’s Managing Director Eric Campbell was chuffed to win Designer of the Year at the 2016 PPA Independent Publisher (IPN) Awards in London.
The judges described Eric’s designs for White Light’s consumer magazine Hot Rum Cow as imaginative, stylish and humorous, adding: “His work stands out through the use of photography and illustrations that readers would not typically expect to see in the pages of a magazine. He is a unique and rare talent.”
Eric says: “This is an amazing accolade to receive from a judging panel that includes a wealth of design talent. Being recognised for doing something that I love feels fantastic. Our clients are also reaping the benefits of the creativity of the Hot Rum Cow team as we apply the same visual thinking to their projects.”
White Light was delighted to be shortlisted for another two IPN awards: Event of the Year for World Whisky Day and Customer Magazine of the Year for Reflect, which is created for financial services organisation, Equatex.
The UK-wide awards recognise and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of independent publishers and the dynamic contribution they make to the industry.
