Fraser began his career in London as a journalist with William Reed, spent a year in Istanbul working as a newspaper reporter, and then returned to edit magazines for Haymarket Media Group. In 1998, he became editorial director of Brass Tacks (the publishing division of Chime Communications plc) leaving in 2001 to co-found White Light Media. As well as running the business, Fraser continues to play an active editorial role. He is also a business mentor for Scottish Enterprise and immediate past chairman of PPA Scotland.
